Bletchley Park has been chosen as the location for a seminar that will focus on FTIR multiparameter gas detection. Taking place on Thursday 30th June, the seminar is being sponsored by FTIR specialist Gasmet and participation is free of charge.

The seminar is titled: 'Unleashing the Potential of Gas Monitoring with FTIR' and will focus on the technology and regulations that apply to both fixed and portable applications in stack emissions, process monitoring, occupational safety, research and ambient monitoring.

The seminar will include practical demonstrations and provide the latest guidance on gas detection (including Technical Guidance Note M22) with high profile speakers from NPL, Gasmet, Quantitech and a leading occupational safety organisation.

All refreshments will be provided and there will be an opportunity to participate in a guided tour of the Bletchley Park National Codes Centre, which explains how the Enigma and Lorenz codes were broken during WW2. (see www.bletchleypark.org.uk)

This seminar is designed for both novices and those that already have FTIR instruments and places are being allocated on a first come/first served basis.
