Emissions regulations theme for MCERTS 2011

MCERTS 2011 will take place at the Telford International Centre on 30th and 31st March and focus on the regulations, techniques, standards and technologies that relate to emissions monitoring and gas detection.

In addition to a major Conference, MCERTS 2011 will also provide over 60 walk-in/walk-out training Workshops on applications and methods, and an Exhibition featuring almost all of the world's leading suppliers of emissions monitoring equipment and services.

The main Conference is organised by the Source Testing Association (STA) and the Environment Agency, and will focus on forthcoming regulations including the new Industrial Emissions Directive, Operator Monitoring Assessments and the MCERTS monitoring certification scheme.

Six workshop rooms will be situated within the exhibition hall in which around seventy organisations will provide visitors with an opportunity to view and discuss the latest monitoring techniques and technologies. For example: LAND Instruments will launch the new LANCOM 4 portable gas analyser; Quantitech will launch a new Standard Reference Method version of the enormously popular PG 250 portable emissions analyser; Casella will launch the new Evolution series of ambient gas analysers and PCME will unveil the WET STACK 181 measurement system and the Bag Pulse Display Unit for particulate and filter leak monitors.

Siemens Industry Automation and Drive Technologies (IA&DT) will exhibit at MCERTS for the first time, CryoService will launch a new hydrogen fuel gas cylinder changeover system for CEMS installations and a purge block system for use with HCl and Ashtead Technology will launch a new range of instrument rental financial packages including the ‘Perpetual Rental Program’ and the ‘Rent To Own’ plan.

Entry to MCERTS 2011 will cost £55 for a one day pass or £100 for a two day pass. This will entitle visitors to attend the exhibition and all conference and workshop sessions. Onsite parking is also included and free lunches and refreshments are provided. To register visit www.mcerts.uk.com
