In 2023 Buttonwood Marketing was employed by the Government of Brazil to supply PR and Media Services during the COP28 UN Climate Change Conference.
Two members of the Buttonwood team were located in Dubai throughout the conference, providing a range of services including:
- Liaison with key international media
- Writing Press Releases relating to initiatives launched by the Government of Brazil during COP28
- Distribution of PRs to journalists and newsdesks globally
- Monitoring media coverage of Brazil and COP28
- Providing media advice
- Facilitating Press Briefings with journalists from key media such as The Guardian, the FT, Bloomberg, Politico, The New York Times and others.
