PEFTEC 2019, the 3rd International Conference and Exhibition on Petroleum, Refining and Environmental Technologies, will take place on 22nd & 23rd May at the Rotterdam Ahoy exhibition centre in the Netherlands. Previous events took place in Antwerp, but organiser Marcus Pattison says: “Rotterdam Ahoy is a vibrant, fresh facility, located in the middle of one of the world’s major petrochemical hubs. It also has superb transport links, so the move to Rotterdam will make a trip to PEFTEC even easier.

“We are in the process of finalising the conference programme but potential speakers may still submit abstracts via www.peftec.com .”

Rotterdam has Europe’s largest port and is situated at the heart of the ARRA cluster (Antwerp-Rotterdam-Rhine-Ruhr Area) with 5 oil refineries, 45 chemical companies, 5 biofuel producers, 2 biochemical factories and a number of major power stations. The port also represents a vitally important transit point for bulk materials between the European continent and overseas markets.

PETEC 2019 is a focused event specialising in monitoring and analysis within Petroleum, Refining and Environmental applications. Building on the success of previous events, PEFTEC offers visitors and delegates an extensive conference and seminar programme provided by internationally renowned experts. Presentations will address a range of topical issues including process monitoring and control, regulations, standards, methods, technologies, and analytical techniques, in addition to case studies and reports on the latest research.

The technical programme will be complemented by a major international exhibition featuring product and service providers from around the world, representing over 250 companies.
Reflecting current concern with rising global methane levels, PEFTEC will also incorporate an Industrial Methane Measurement Conference featuring a wide variety of speakers reporting on projects and technologies involved with initiatives to measure and mitigate methane emissions.

The programmes for both conferences, as well as a packed seminar programme, will be published on the event website www.peftec.com.
